Improving UX/UI of Alation Software for Sydbank with a focus on new employees

Overview

This project aimed to improve the usability and onboarding experience of an internal data management platform used by employees in a corporate banking environment. Through UX research, surveys, and user journey mapping, we identified pain points that affected navigation, accessibility, and overall workflow efficiency. Based on these insights, I redesigned key interface elements, restructured the information architecture, and created a more intuitive onboarding process for new users. The final design focused on clarity, consistency, and inclusiveness, helping employees work more efficiently and feel supported by a system that truly adapts to their needs.
